LOGANSPORT, Ind. – Voter turnout in Logansport for the 2011 municipal primary election was “very high,” according to Cass County Clerk Beth Liming.
Liming said it’s hard to compare to previous primary elections because this is the first time early voting and vote centers were in effect. Liming said it’s a tie between two of the three polling locations for the highest turnout.
“I’d say between our Logansport Mall and the Senior Citizens’ Center are our two main ones. Obviously, we ran three this time. I’d say the Logansport Mall has probably been the highest,” said Liming.
Liming said there were no technical issues. She said everything ran smoothly and the workers have been great.
