Police: Boy dismembered, man charged

New York Police charged a New York man with murder Wednesday night after they said officers found human remains in the man’s refrigerator and a trash bin.

Authorities believe the remains are those of a missing 8-year-old boy.

Police say the 35-year-old suspect made statements Wednesday implicating himself in the death of Leiby Kleztky, a member of the close-knit Orthodox Jewish community in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn who went missing Monday afternoon.

At a news conference earlier Wednesday, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly identified the suspect as Levi Aron.

Indorsement In Blank Entitles Holder To Summary Judgment

In Kaminik v. Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. (4D09-4861), the Fourth District affirmed a summary judgment of foreclosure. The Court stated that “The record demonstrates that appellee tendered the original promissory note to the trial court, which contained a special indorsement in its favor.” Based upon the special indorsement, the appellee was entitled to judgment. The Court also reversed the judgment in part due to incorrect numbers that were included in the final judgment.

Gonorrhea Superbug Discovered by Scientists Resists Antibiotics

Researchers in Sweden and Japan have found a new gonorrhea superbug. This strain of gonorrheas antibiotic resistance means that it survives treatment from cephalosporin-class antibiotics, the last known antibiotic treatment for gonorrhea.

This new superbug was found in the throat of a sex worker in Japan. Only a few infections by this new superbug have been detected. The new strain has been dubbed H041.

However, now researchers are worried that the superbug – with its antibiotic resistance – may be able to spread quickly, causing widespread public health problems, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Gonorrhea is diagnosed in around 700,000 Americans each year, according to the CDC.

Alton police searching for murder suspect

– Police are searching for the suspect in the murder of a 22-year-old man on July 11 in Alton.

Police found Marlon Poindexter sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the back of the head around 4 p.m. in the 3300 block of Myrle.  He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

According to police, three other men were in Poindexter’s vehicle when one of the rear passengers pulled out a handgun and shot him in the back of the head.

The suspect and passengers of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

After interviewing witnesses, police have identified the suspect as Damond Riddlespriger.  He is currently not in police custody and has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
